Gilbert Kerrigan spent 6 years
working in campus ministry and involvement ministry
for the Greenwood Park congregation in Bowling
Green, KY before coming to Elmwood as the pulpit
minister in November, 2007. He has a passion for
preaching, teaching, and small group ministry. He
hopes to help others on a journey called
“discipleship” by making God’s Word come to life
through his preaching.
Gilbert is married to his best friend, Kate.
Together they have one amazing son, Cole. He has a
MA in Biblical Studies from David Lipscomb
University. His hobbies include Cubs baseball,
Auburn football, hunting and fishing.

| Lee Porter, Elmwood Youth Minister | ||||||||||||||||

| Lee Porter works with Elmwood's youth. Elmwood believes in the importance of ministry to teens and their families and asked Lee to move to Indiana from Texas in 1998. A graduate of Abilene Christian University, he has been in full-time youth ministry for over 25 years and can’t envision himself doing anything else. Lee’s philosophy of youth ministry is that he and the youth ministry team should come alongside parents to help them carefully place their children’s hands securely in the hands of the Heavenly Father. Lee married Sharon (Hance) in June of 1976. Phil Travis is a graduate of
Rochester College and has served as an interim youth
and campus minister during the the last year at
Elmwood. Phil is engaged and is planning on being
married this August. Welcome Phil!
